April 6, 2020 Tax Equalization Meeting
The Lakota City Board of Tax Equalization met via phone conference on Monday, April 6, 2020. Mayor Jeff Russo called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. All Council Members were present. Assessor Michelle Linstad was also present.

Member D. Mattern questioned why Schwan property was only listed as 25% complete as of February 1st? Assessor Linstad stated she would have to review it but reminded the council that the Schwan’s did not apply for the 2-year tax abatement for their property. After some discussion with the council it was decided to leave the Schwan property as presented.
Member R. Mattern made a motion to approve the recommended property tax changes as recommended by Assessor Linstad, seconded by Member Hess. On a roll call vote, all voting in favor. Motion carried.
Member D. Mattern made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Member Hess. Meeting adjourned at 5:46 pm.
