June 28, 2022 Final Meeting before Reorganization

The Lakota City Council held its final meeting before the Organizational meeting on June 28^th, 2022, at the City Hall. Mayor Hooey called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. All Council Members were present. 

The council and audience stood and conducted the pledge of allegiance.

Member Hess made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 6^th, 2022 regular meeting, seconded by Member R. Mattern.  All voting in favor.  Motion carried.

Member D. Mattern made a motion to approve a special events permit for DD’s Place for a wedding dance on July 2^nd, 2022, seconded by Member Hess.  All voting in favor.  Motion carried.

Member Vasichek made a motion to approve the purchase a pool pump for the swimming pool estimated at $7,000 utilizing Sales Tax Economic Development funds, seconded by Member D. Mattern.  On a roll call vote, all members voting in favor.  Motion carried.

Mayor Hooey thanked Members Hess and R. Mattern for their years of service on the city council.

Member Vasichek made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Member Hess.
