Stump Lake- which is 12 miles south & 1 mile west of Lakota. There is pike, walleye and perch. Boat Ramp.
Lake Laretta- which is 2 miles west, 3 miles north of Michigan. There is pike & perch. No ramp there.
McVille Dam- which is 1 mile east of McVille. There is pike, walleye & perch. Fishing Pier.
Silver Creek Dam- 4 miles west & .5 miles south of McVille. There is pike. No ramp.
Tolna Dam- 1 miles south & 2 miles east of Tolna. There is pike, walleye and perch.
Whitman Dam- 1.5 miles north, 3 miles east of Whitman. There is pike, perch & walleye.
Devils Lake- Near the City of Devils Lake. Pike, walleye and perch.
This is also a great area for hunting. North Dakota is know as the duck factory in the lower 48 states, boasting some of the best duck hunting in the country for birds raised within its boarders - and some of the best hunting for birds making southern migrations from nesting ground in Canada. There have also been a record number of deer licenses available in recent years.
